Trois-Quarts Taxi System (Eloi Petillon) is a producer, live performer, sound artist, and DJ whose work moves deliberately beyond fixed genre categories. Drawing on dubstep, techno, electroacoustic composition, and drum & bass, he builds layered and often disorienting soundscapes shaped by field recordings, polyrhythms, and highly detailed sound design. The result is music that feels both physical and atmospheric at once.
Petillon is a resident at Rinse France, co-founder of the platforms De la… je l’espère and Hard Love Motor Love, and one half of Malesa, where bass music and trip-hop intersect with Spanish poetry. Working both under his own name and the alias Trois-Quarts Taxi System, he develops a cross-disciplinary approach that connects club culture with more experimental contexts, consistently exploring new relationships between acoustic and digital sound.
