For FIBER, Tharim Cornelisse & Annelieke Rovers present a site-specific club scenography in the Wash Room that blurs installation and dancefloor, combining an audiovisual sculpture of LED visuals and stained glass into a shifting light system. Their work brings together older and emerging storytelling modes, treating light not as illumination but as material that can be shaped, interrupted, and reassembled over time. Alongside the sculptural element, they design the lighting of the space itself, extending the piece into the architecture of the club environment.

The work is produced with support from Stichting Stokroos.

About the artist

Guided by curiosity and a quiet sense of wonder, Annelieke Rovers explores the meeting points between nature, craft and technology. Beginning with close observation – like a ripple in sand or a shift in light – she translates fleeting phenomena into material form. Traditional techniques intertwine with digital tools, blurring boundaries between the handmade and the mechanical. Her work moves between precision and intuition, control and chance, drawing attention to what often goes unnoticed.

Tharim Cornelisse is a digital artist and art director based in Amsterdam. Working with CGI and real-time visuals, he translates abstract sensations into perceptible, affective forms. His practice is closely connected to electronic music and nightlife, often taking shape through collaborative audiovisual performances and moving image works.
