About the artist
Pınar Temiz is a sound designer and former installation artist working across game audio, interactive arts, and research-driven practice. As Senior Sound Designer at Guerrilla Games, she led creature sound design for Horizon Zero Dawn (2017) and Horizon Forbidden West (2022), focusing on behavioural sound and sonic world-building. Her earlier work explored responsive systems using sensors, generative processes, and living materials. Temiz’s practice centres on complex, lifelike systems and the interplay between control and emergence, with a growing focus on accessibility through interactive and spatial audio.
