FIBER Festival 2026 has come to an end.
Still floating in the echo of these four days – thank you to everyone who joined the 11th edition.
We closed our last day highlighting two distinct ways of listening. Sound Art Sunday, our closing day tradition, at de Brakke Grond gathered Hannah Todt, Joris Strijbos, Amber Meulenijzer and Anaïs Lossouarn for an afternoon of winding down and listening closely.
The festival ended at BIMHUIS with Abdullah Miniawy Trio's quiet, devotional intensity giving way to KUNTARI's visceral, ceremonial primal-core. Fragility and force, sharing the same stage one last time.
FIBER exists through its visitors and community; your support and attendance made it happen. Thank you! Especially in these times, we deeply value coming together to share new ideas and ways of listening and being together. We want to extend a warm and heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped bring this edition to life: the artists, speakers, performers, our dear team, and volunteers.
We also thank our funding and creative partners for their support: Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst, Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie, Mondriaanfonds, het Cultuurfonds, Kunstenpunt, CIIIC, DutchCulture, Stuk Leuven, Délégation générale du Québec à Bruxelles, de Brakke Grond, Resident Advisor and all creative and media partners.
