FIBER Festival Day 1 Recap

Thank you for joining us on the first day of FIBER Festival 2026! 💚

With a sold out show at murmur and a full house at de Brakke Grond, we can’t wait for the next few days!

Filled with intimacy and softness,  Bapari’s sensual R&B and silky vocals tinted with melancholy opened the festival with a nod to sensitivity. The warmly dense drones of

Loraine James under her alias Whatever the Weather moved between impressionistic textures and crystalline synths.

At the sold out murmur, Xenia Reaper’s meticulously airy sonic compositions balancing breaks and asmr-y textures were met with deep bass and visceral subs for a contrast that felt simultaneously tender and seismic from Trois-Quarts Taxi System.

⮕ Today is Symposium Day 1 at de Brakke Grond (11:30 – 18:30), centred on artistic practices around Fragile Forces. With talks by Louis Braddock Clarke and Mariana Berezovska, and panels co-curated with Resident Advisor featuring LNR, Trois-Quarts Taxi System, Woody92, Jan Rohlf, Alberta Balsam, Loma Doom, and Nicolas Geysens, moderated by Chloe Lula and Abdo Hassan. We finish with a remote keynote from Dean Spade and a response from Rachael Rakes.

⮕ Tonight at Orgelpark, Kara-Lis Coverdale and Anushka Chkheidze share a double bill at the intersection of pipe organ, voice, and electronics, spatialised in the state-of-art 4DSOUND system. 20:15 – 22:45.

⮕ Then we move to Garage Noord, with Piezo & upsammy, Remma, LNR, Flore, Nexus (live), Souzo (live) and Bobby Beethoven. 23:30 – 07:00.

Tickets are going very fast now, so don’t sleep on them. Passes are already sold out. Last handful of tickets are still left for Orgelpark; grab them before they’re gone.
