Mariana Berezovska will present an interactive lecture offering a behind-the-scenes look at Disturbed Ground, a collaborative initiative inviting international artists to create new audiovisual performances that respond to the ecological consequences of war in Ukraine. Launched by Kyiv’s ∄ and Berlin’s CTM Festival, the project engages artists, researchers, and audiences through audiovisual works and discursive formats. Berezovska will discuss the project from a curatorial perspective, reflecting on its social and environmental impact.

About the speaker

Mariana Berezovska is a Ukrainian writer, curator, and creative producer based between Kyiv and Berlin. Her work focuses on leading cross-disciplinary artistic projects that bring together musicians, visual artists, and researchers in contexts of social and ecological urgency. She is one of the initiators and producers of Disturbed Ground, a cross-border audiovisual project developed in collaboration with CTM Festival exploring the environmental consequences of war in Ukraine through sound, image, and scientific research. She is also the co-founder of Borshch Magazine, label manager of Standard Deviation at ∄ (K41), and co-creator of the documentary She Space Tbilisi and an upcoming film about Príncipe Discos in Lisbon.
