About the artist

Femke Dekker is a sound practitioner whose work, both as artist and educator, centres on listening as method and material. Under the moniker Loma Doom, she develops a distinctive form of electronic experimentalism that moves between introspective and physical registers, seeking out nonlinear, intuitive sonic paths. Her practice spans performance, radio, and education, engaging contexts from galleries to dance floors. She holds residencies at Stranded FM and Echobox, and has performed at venues including Salon Des Amateurs, Meakusma, and Cafe Oto, while also teaching at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.
