About the artist
Katažyna Jankovska is a curator, writer, and researcher based between Rotterdam and Vilnius. Her practice focuses on ever-evolving relationships between humans, machines, and natural systems, with a particular interest in experimental art forms exploring sensory perception, digital culture, and the influence of technology on contemporary society.
Her work extends into publishing, including If a Tree Falls in a Forest, a book of conversations with artists exploring the limits of human perception and nonhuman sensoria, and Off-Grid, her recent book, which examines fragile infrastructures, self-organised networks, and forms of knowledge and autonomy that emerge when dominant systems fail. She works across writing, public programmes, exhibitions, and editorial projects.
